Privacy policy
Last updated 28 September 2026
This explains what NaijaCards collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in and contact you about your account.
- What you type to make a card: the occasion, names, message and any invitation details.
- The cards we make for you.
- Your plan and payment status. Payments are handled by Paystack. We never see your full card number, only the card type and last four digits so we can show which card is on file.
- Basic technical logs (such as request times and errors) that keep the service working and secure.
Who processes it
We use these providers to run NaijaCards. They process your data only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — sign-in, database and card storage.
- Vercel — hosting.
- Ideogram — draws each card from the details you typed.
- Anthropic — checks occasions and messages, suggests messages and flags spelling mistakes.
- Paystack — takes subscription payments.
Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria. We don't sell your data or use it for ads.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and cards until you ask us to delete them. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and cards. Email support@naijacardz.com from the address you sign in with. Cancel any subscription first so you aren't charged again. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
